You will be collected from your hotel in Negombo for an early start to Pinnawela to see the feeding of the elephants with an option to have something to eat and drink whilst watching the elephants bathing in the river.
You will then travel on to Sigiriya with a few hours at rest before going to climb the rock as the day gets cooler

Day02: Sigiriya/Polonnuruwa/Kandy
Morning departure for Polonnuruwa which was built in the 11th and 12th Centuries AD and visit the many ruins found here.  You also have the option for an elephant ride on the way as we travel through the Elephant walkway (Habarana).

After seeing the ancient sites of Polonorruwa we travel on to Kandy, the former Sri Lankan capital, and en route pay a visit to a tea plantation. Arriving in the late afternoon you have a short time to freshen up before going to a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing.

Stay overnight at Thilanka Hotel - Kandy

Day03: Kandy/Negombo
Start the morning with a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic followed by a drive around the lake, built in 1798 and around the Kandy town.  There are opportunities to visit a Batik factory, wood carving factory and gem shop.  Have a look around the Botanical gardens before we travel back to Negombo and your hotel.
